We are excited to announce that Progression has been selected as one of the vendors for the School District of Pontiac's Project EXCEL Summer Enrichment Program for 2010!!!!!
The 6 week program will teach students the following:
Music Technology/Composition – Basic piano, music theory and recording techniques using computers will be used to compose a final product.
Music Instruction – Instruct students on how to play the following instruments: Keyboard, bass guitar and drumset.
Film Production/Editing – Students will learn the basics of camera operation, filming and editing.
Dance – Students will learn the basics of hip-hop, jazz and modern dance.
Project EXCEL is excited about launching its first summer program and with the contributions from Progression, the students will have a 6 week summer program full of exciting adventure and exposure to the world of health, fitness, arts and literacy. The program runs from June 28, 2010 to August 6, 2010.

"The Learning Express" "The Learning Express" is a program that takes academic subjects and presents them using jazz and hip-hop.

Going Green Show Songs in this presentation include: "Pick it Up" which deals with recycling and keeping the environment clean. "A Little Less" covers preserving air quality and reducing pollution and "Carbon Footprint" deals with how we can control how much greenhouse gases we release into the atmosphere.
Drug & Bike Safety A collection of hip songs that deal with being safe while riding your bike and staying away from drugs and its influences. Bike safety deals with wearing helmets, the color of your clothes, reflectors and being on the right side of the road. The bridge in the anti drug song is " Drugs only kill what you're trying to build."
